Chronology:
1. 9/24/1845, Cleveland, passenger passing on a plank from propeller to a schooner, fell into the river and drowned;
2. 4/25/1848, Cattaraugus Creek, Lake Erie, rescued crew and righted the capsized, Schooner, Scioto, then towed her to
Buffalo;
3. 9/30/1849, Cleveland, lost her rudder and collision, (Schooner, William), repaired;
4. 9/23/1851, Lake Erie, lost a man overboard in a gale;
5. 6/29/1853, Lake Erie, collision, (Steamer, Louisiana), repaired, $18, 000 loss;
6. 10/00/1857, Lake Superior, broke her shaft and repaired, $1, 800 loss;
7. 10/00/1862, near Bay City, Saginaw River, sank and raised;
8. 10/2/1866, Lake Huron, broke away from a tug and later recovered;
9. 11/1/1874, Point Abino, Lake Erie, ashore and hull broke in two; Hull was later abandoned, $8, 500 loss;

Machinery: (1845), Cross-head low pressure engine; (1862), engine from Steamer, M. B. Spaulding, replaced the old engine;
