*Cuthbertson says she was built in 1775;
**McGarvey was killed by an accidental musket shot at the River Rouge in 1782.
Michigan Pioneer Collection, Vol. 24, p. 12: List of his Majesty's armed vessels on Lake Erie, 1783, has the Adventure built at Detroit in 1776, and 18 tons;
Telescope, Vol. 31, Number 4, July - August: says she was laid up in January, 1784; Final disposition unknown;
Macpherson list her built at Detroit, Michigan, 1780;
She was built for Lake Erie and was still in service in 1782. She carried 8 guns, 2 swivels and 6 muskets;
*The Wisconsin Historical Collections state that she was built at Detroit and carried 4 swivels in the year 1776.
History of the Great Lakes states that she was built in Detroit in 1776.
