Chronology:
1. 11/2/1853, near Ogdensburg, St. Lawrence River, ashore and released, $500 loss;
2. 8/26/1854, 6 miles above Ogdensburg, in the St. Lawrence River, ashore and released;
3. 5/00/1856, Chicago, ashore and released;
4. 5/9/1860, Toronto Harbor Islands, ashore in a fog and released, $2, 500 loss;
5. 4/00/1863, Genesee River, collision, (unknown vessel), repaired, $180 loss;
6. 8/14/1867, Lake Ontario, collision, (sank Propeller, Magnet), repaired;
7. In July, 1877, the registration was closed on the Athenian and she was dismantled and hull was towed to Sorel and moored.
8. 12/13/1883, she tore loose from her moorings and traveled down stream where she hit a reef at Chenal du Moine, and
sank; Here she remained abandoned until she broke up;
