2. 9/17/1892, 4 miles below Whitefish Point, Whitefish Bay, Lake Superior, collision, (Steamer, Nipigon), sank, (iron ore); The
Vienna had the Schooner, Mattie C. Bell in tow and after the collision, the Nipigon towed the Vienna for about an hour, but
the vessel went down in 60 fathoms of water;
