3. 12.00.1855, Port Colborne, damaged hull while breaking ice, repaired, $500 loss;
4. 00/00/1856, Lake Erie, damaged cargo in a gale, (merchandise), hull $500 loss, cargo $2, 000 loss;
5. 5/00/1857, Lexington, Lake Huron, collision, (Schooner, Palestine), repaired, $100 loss;
6. 5/14/1857, Erie, Lake Erie, struck the wreck of the Steamer, Golden Gate, sank and raised, (white fish and flour), $3, 200 loss;
7. 4/00/1861, St. Clair River, aground and lightered off, $200 loss;
8. 6/4/1861, collision, (sank Schooner, Storm King), repaired;

Machinery: Vertical beam engine built by Detroit Iron Company; Cylinder: 41" diameter x 10' stroke; Wheel, 28' diameter;
Engine finally went into the Steamer, Orion in 1865;
1866, she was an unrigged barge;
Lytle List says she is a new vessel and not a rebuilding of the 1844 Nile; Rig was changed to a barge on 5/26/1866 and an unrigged barge in 1868;
John Poole's notes; Her hull lay sunk at lower end of Detroit, Michigan; raised and converted into a propeller barge; finally lost in Lake Huron in 1868 off Port Austin; See Michigan, 1846, Detroit;
Poole's notes note her as being converted into a Propeller (Barge);
