General notes:
*8/11/1863, Rebuilt at Oswegatchie (Ogdensburg); No formal Certificate of Enrollment was issued, but a letter was found which served as a Certificate of Record. The idea was to permit a vessel to proceed to a foreign port for rebuild or sale by or to aliens if Certificate of Enrollment or Registry were not issued. Idea was to have Foreigners contract to build and purchase ships in the United States.
She was valued at $4,000 pounds, in 1854; $14,000, in 1857; $9,000 in 1860: $13,000, in 1866; $7,000,in 1871;
1869 Canadian Register notes that she was "not fit for upper lakes";
