2. 6/11/1849, Erie, collision, (Steamer, Saratoga), (2 lives lost), repaired;
3. 8/12/1852, Lake Huron, collision, (Brig, Stephen F. Gale), repaired, $1, 400 loss;
4. 10/16/1856, Cedar Point, Sandusky, Lake Erie, machinery broke, ashore and sank, raised, (stock and freight), $30, 000 loss;
5. 5/21/1860, Cleveland, struck by lightning and burned, $500 loss;
6. 8/3/1869, hull was removed and towed out to the beach where she was abandoned again;

General notes:
The hull was built at Black River in 1846 and she ran unfinished till 1847 when she was finished at Cleveland; Her first enrollment says she was built in Cleveland, Ohio in 1846;
Machinery: high pressure engine, formerly in the Steamer Empire, built by the Cuyahoga Works, Cleveland, Ohio; Cylinder: 30" diameter x 10' stroke;
1858-1859, Cleveland, she was laid up in the old River Bed and Abandoned;
