Hull #335, (Rierside); She was launched as the "William L. Nelson", but was renamed before her first enrollment; She was built as a C1-M-AVl class cargo vessel for U S. Maritime Commission; When the hull was completed, she was transferred to Pendleton Shipyard, New Orleans, Louisiana; She was then transferred again to Port Houston Iron works, Houston Texas, where vessel was completed; She was scrapped at Kaohsiung, Taiwan in June of 1968;
