Chronology:
1. 5/29/1846, Bar Point, Lake Erie, ashore and released;
2. 8/30/1847, 40 miles from mouth of St. Clair River, on Lake Huron, collision, (Steamer, Wisconsin) repaired;
3. 00/00/1849, Thunder Bay Island, Lake Huron, she rescued the passengers from the wrecked Steamer, New Orleans;
4. 10/3/1849, Milwaukee, ashore and released, $13, 000 loss;
5. 5/6/1850, salvage began and the vessel was floated on 6/5/1850; She stranded while under tow and was burned at the
mouth of the Milwaukee River on 9/6/1850, as a menace to navigation; The remains were auctioned off to C. Harrison
on 10/22/1852;
6. 9/5/`853, while stranded near Milwaukee, caught on fire and burned to the waters edge;
7. 11/17/1860, she was being raised after 10 years underwater and will be made into a Bark

General notes:
Machinery: Vertical Beam low pressure engine, built by West Point Foundry Company; Wheels, 28' diameter; The engine came out of the Steamer, Milwaukie; In 1861, at Wolf and Lawrences Dry Dock, the hull of the old Steamer, Nile, is being worked into a bark;
She was abandoned in 1850;
