1. 5/00/1863, at the head of Lake Erie, ashore and released, $380 loss;
7/15/1864, Left Detroit for Liverpool, (441 tons copper, 300 ;pieces of cedar, 57 bales of Flax); 11/20/1864, returned across the Atlantic in 22 days; Arrived Buffalo from Liverpool, (30 tons pig iron, 121 crates, 112, 000 lbs. rice, crockery, 12 bbl. beer, 12 bbl. Brown Stout, 6 tons bleaching powder, a number of steins); 2/14/1865, Capt. W. Wright, arrived with a crew and officers from Liverpool, England, to take command of Bark Thermutis & Schooner Sarnac at Toledo where they wintered; 4/12/1865, both vessels took on a ground tier of staves to support the copper at the Detroit &* Milwaukee, Railroad dock; 5/4/1865, arrived Bruce Mines; 5/8/1865, left Bruce Mines for Liverpool, (456 net tons of copper, 8, 000 staves, 4, 000 ft. lumber); 5/12/1865 arrived at Welland Canal; bark Thermutis left Detroit, 48 hours ahead of Schooner , Saranac; 5/12/1865, Schooner, struck a warehouse, carried away her jib boom and repaired at Kingston; 5/15/1865, Schooner, Saranac passed Bark, Thermutis at St. Catharines about midnight; arrived 5/19/1865 at Kingston; 5/31/1865, left Quebec 6 days in advance of Bark, Thermutis, 9 days gain since Detroit; both Bark, Thermutis (on 7/5/1865) and Schooner, Saranac (on 7/7/1865), arrived at Liverpool; After encountering heavy storm; 7/10/1866, passed Detroit headed for Bruce Mines; 8/19/1866, arrived from Bruce Mines at Detroit on direct voyage to Liverpool, (459 tons iron ore, staves, hickory poles & spokes); She will return next year;

Nyren & Purden are Liverpool, owners, went out of business running boats from Liverpool to the Lakes;
She was fore & aft rigged in 1864;
1866, she was converted into a bow rigged top sail Schooner; She was painted black in 1866;
