General notes:
*New Erie, Pennsylvania;
**This is a "Certificate of Registry" that says she was foreign owned till 1802.
Beers notes her on Lake Erie in 1795, which has to be an error. There was another sloop named Good Intent that
was around in 1795, but she sailed on Lake Ontario and was only 15 tons;
***5/26/1802, William Lee, master, foreigner;
Arrival and clearance records of Erie, Pennsylvania have her running between Erie and Upper Canada during the
years of 1800 and 1805. Some interesting notations from those records are as follows:
a. 8/25/1801, she entered with a cargo of 38 gallons of Madeira wine from Upper Canada;
b. 8/13/1802, she was readmeasured;
c. 4/27/1803, was sold, registered and cleared Erie;
d. 4/17/1805, was sold, registered and cleared Erie;
e. 4/25/1805, writing an article of agreement between Reed, Burkler (Buckler) with Charles Parker;
