Chronology:: 1. 9/4/1763, near Turkey Island, Detroit River, attacked by Indians during Pontiac's seige of the British garrison at Detroit;**

Notes

General notes:: *Niagara, Ontario; She was launched by a man named Theis, from Navy Island, which is in the Niagara River.
She was built for service on Lake Erie and the upper lakes;
Cuthbertson says she was built in 1763;
**The schooner, Gladwyn was rumored as the vessel attacked, but it was the schooner, Huron instead;
She was rigged as a double, square, topsail schooner and was armed with six 4 pounders and 2 swivels;
Painted white below the water line, black above with a yellow-orange band at the gun ports;
Telescope, Vol. 31, Number 4, July - August: says she was renamed the Gladwin, but this has to be a mistake;
7/26/1761, ready to be launched in ten days; within two weeks of this date the vessel was launched as she was noted engaged under Captain Robertson's command in sounding the Niagara near the entrance to Lake Erie.
Macpherson list her armed with six guns;
