*Referred to as "Wyandot", "Wyandott", "Windate", "Wyandall";
7/30/1778, she is on the stocks being built on Lake Erie;
Beers says she was built in 1779, and was 47 gross tons;
Wisconsin Historical Collection, Vol. XI, p. 199 says she is on the stocks to be armed with four swivel guns;
**She is reported on the beach about 60 miles on the east shore in Lake Huron, crew and cargo are safe; In another report the distance given on the east shore is 80 miles; Telescope, Vol. 31, Number 4, July - August: says she was not ashore, but was hauled out of the water for the winter and was refloated the next season;
Michigan Pioneer Collection, Vol. 24, p. 12: List of his Majesty's vessels on Lake Erie, 1783, has the "Wyandot" built at Detroit in 1778, and 37 tons;
Wisconsin Historical Collection, N-41, p.47, list her at 37 tons in 1790;
7 men with 4 swivels, 46 muskets.
