Built for Lake Erie and upper lakes service;
*Cuthbertson says the vessel was lost on the north shore of Lake Erie, but this has not been confirmed;
Reibel says the Michigan was salvaged in 1764, cabins cut down and renamed the Beaver, but this has not been confirmed;
Telescope, Vol. 31, Number 4, July - August: says she is a sloop, built 1761-1762 at Navy Island;
Macpherson list her built in 1762 as a sloop;
