There may be two vessels running out of Kingston, Ontario with the name Comet during 1817-1818; one with the captain being, Benet and the other being, Steel;
In November, 1816, a schooner, Comet was falsely reported ashore near Burlington Bay, Lake Ontario. The owner was A. G. Goss and the master was Warner;
