*She was first known as "Union", of Wellington Grove;
**Heyl says she was built by Niagara Harbour & Dock Company, but Poole's notes say she was built at Prescott; Niagara Gleanrer, 19 June 1824 reported her launch at Burlington Bay
***Poplar Point was about 50 miles from Kingston, Ontario;
Schooner., Union, was cut in two and had 30 feet added on 7/24/1826;
