General notes:
* Brig Andes collided in the straits, but was towed to Beaver Island where she sank on 6/1/1857. The vessel was finally raised.
1866, She was valued at $6,500;
1862, newspapers say she was rebuilt in 1862, but officially she was not required to take out new papers which would be the case of a rebuild. Thus, she would have to be considered extensively repaired;
