1. 8/19/1830, collision, (Steamer, Sheldon Thompson), repaired;
2. 9/17/1830, Buffalo, stern steam pipe exploded, (first explosion recorded on the U. S. side of the lake), (15 lives lost, repaired;
3. 4/00.1831, Erie, Lake Erie, driven by ice from a wharf, ashore and released;
4. 6/19/1835, Dunkirk, ashore and released;
5. 00/00/1844, Erie, hull went into decay and was broken up and buried in the Erie Harbor when they were building a dock;

*Portland is Barcelona, New York;
Machinery: High pressure engine built by M. Stackhouse, Pittsburgh, 1826; She ran one year with a low pressure engine built by Landon of Troy, but it was inefficient, so got a new engine with 4 boilers;
She was abandoned in 1835, but not destroyed until 1844;
