Chronology:: 1. 00/00/1850, she left the Great Lakes for California;
2. Mouth of Mississippi River, collision and repaired;
3. She ran to the coast of Africa, picked up a cargo of slaves for Cuba, but was attacked by a Spanish war vessel; The
Captain ran her on an Island and deserted her; 5/5/1853, her rig was changed to a Bark and she was renamed, "Carrier
Pigeon";

General notes:: She was the first Steamer or Propeller to leave the Great Lakes and go to the coast;
5/5/1853, Rig changed to a Bark and renamed, Carrier Pigeon (Ocean Vessel);
She traded between New Orleans and Boston for a while;
